§ 50-36. Compliance with article; interference with environmental control officer.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person, directly or indirectly, to cause or permit the pollution of the air or waters of the county in violation of this article, by failure to comply with the pollution control code of the county, or in contravention of any rules, regulations or orders adopted pursuant to this article.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to prevent or attempt to prevent, by force, violence or threat of force or violence, the lawful exercise of the investigative powers granted in this article to the environmental control officer.
