§ 30-41. Required.

It is unlawful for any person to construct or operate a cable system in the unincorporated portions of the county or to provide cable service in the unincorporated portion of the county without a franchise. The issuance of a franchise shall allow the grantee to install, construct, maintain and operate a cable system along, under, over, through, across and upon the public easements and rights-of-way in the unincorporated areas described in the franchise in accordance with and subject to the requirements and restrictions of this chapter.
