§ 118-62. Authority; applicability; purpose.

This article is adopted pursuant to the authority granted charter counties and the authority granted counties in F.S. chs. 125 and 316 to regulate parking. This article is applicable on any county road, paved or unpaved, or on any state road or on any property owned or leased by the county and the Atlantic Ocean beach. This article is enacted to protect the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the county and may include the levying and assessment of parking fees.
