§ 214-65. County expenditures authorized.

  • The board of county commissioners of Volusia County, Florida, is hereby authorized, as a county purpose to expend funds for the uses and purposes authorized by this act [article], including, but not limited to the purchase of books and supplies, the payment of custodial care and services, furnishing utilities including electricity, water and gas, purchase of new and repair of old furniture, electrical fixtures, bookcases and shelves, for any of the three law libraries. The board of county commissioners is further authorized in its discretion, to purchase from any available funds such limited law library as shall be deemed necessary to maintain in connection with the circuit court courtroom which may include Florida Statutes Annotated, and such digests and case books as shall be required, including such books as are currently maintained for this purpose.
