§ 214-31. Deposit of moneys paid into registry of court.
The clerk of the circuit court of Volusia County shall, without court order, deposit any and all moneys paid into the registry of the court in interest-bearing time deposits in any designated depository as provided by F.S. ch. 43. All interest accruing from registry of court moneys while on time deposit shall be deemed income of the office of the clerk of the circuit court of Volusia County and shall be deposited in the same account as are other fees and commissions of the clerk's office. The clerk of the circuit court of Volusia County shall open for bid any and all moneys deposited as required by this chapter [article] and every banking institution which qualifies as a designated depository under the provisions of F.S. ch. 43 in the county shall have the rights to bid on the investment of said funds.
