§ 90-32. Interpretation of article.

Latest version.

In the interpretation and application of this article, all provisions shall be:
(1)

Considered as minimum requirements;

(2)

Liberally construed in favor of the commission;

(3)

Deemed not to limit or repeal any other powers granted by other state statutes, the Charter, county ordinances or commission resolutions; and

(4)

Interpreted in a manner consistent with section 202.3 of the Volusia County Charter and the Community Planning Act (F.S. § 163.3161 et seq.).
