§ 86-337. Removal during probationary period.

  • An appointing authority may remove an employee during the probationary period, with the concurrence of the human resources director, if observation and evaluation have indicated that the employee is unwilling or unable to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position, or that the employee's habits or lack of dependability do not merit continuance in the position. This action should be coordinated with the human resources division prior to the expiration of the probationary period.
