§ 86-332. Duration.

The probationary period for original entrance appointments and promotional appointments made on or after December 15, 2016, shall be 12 months in duration. If a position requires completion of a certification or training program in order to hold the position, the probationary period shall be extended for as long as the certification or training program runs and thereafter for an additional six months after receipt of the certification or completion of the training program.
