§ 86-300. Unclassified appointments.

Appointments to unclassified positions shall be made on a noncompetitive basis.
(1)

Appointment shall be made only from applicants determined by the human resources director to meet the minimum qualifications for the position and shall be at-will and serve at the pleasure of the county manager.

(2)

Appointments to department director and division director positions shall be made by the county manager subject to confirmation by the county council, and shall be at-will and serve at the pleasure of the county manager.
