§ 86-296. Intermittent appointments.

(a)

An appointment of a person on a noncontinuous, intermittent basis may be made to an authorized position.

(b)

A person appointed on an intermittent basis will be on a nonscheduled basis and shall be called in for work intermittently as peak workloads, absences or emergency situations dictate. Persons appointed on an intermittent basis must be approved by the human resources director as meeting the minimum qualifications for the class.
