§ 86-264. Selective certification.

(a)

An appointing authority, with the approval of the human resources director may specify certain unique qualifications relating to a specific position which must be possessed by an appointee in order to properly perform the duties of the position.

(b)

The human resources director shall disapprove requests for selective certification that in his judgment are made for the purpose of reaching a certain applicant or for the purpose of otherwise circumventing the spirit and intent of this article.
