§ 86-229. Order of precedence.

Eligible lists, when in existence, for any class shall have the following order of precedence:
(1)

Layoff list.

(2)

Promotional eligible list, divisional or departmental.

(3)

Promotional eligible list, countywide.

(4)

Reinstatement list (optional).

(5)

Open competitive eligible list.
