§ 86-35. Conflicting provisions or agreements.

(a)

All state and federal laws that are in conflict with this article and which preempt the provisions of this article by mandatory application to local employees shall repeal these provisions to the extent they are applicable.

(b)

The provisions of this article may also be modified by the terms of any collective bargaining agreement entered into with the county under state law. The modification shall apply only to the members of the bargaining unit.
