§ 82-63. Necessity for a special use authorization.

Latest version.
  • (a)

Use of conservation lands not specifically authorized by this article is prohibited unless granted a special use authorization, as appropriate to the requested use unless the director of the division of land acquisition and management or his designee has determined that the use is customary with conservation lands and that any potential impact(s) typically associated with said use are negligible.

    (b)

A special use authorization is applicable for a proposed use that is of short duration (generally less than 30 days, except for research projects or other long-term projects), limited location, and where the requested use does not involve the permanent alteration of any conservation land or the construction of any structure or facility upon any conservation land.
