An Ordinance of Volusia County, Florida, Enacting and Establishing Uniform Zoning
Regulations for the Unincorporated Area of Volusia County, Florida; Defining Terms;
Dividing the Unincorporated Area of the County Into Zoning Districts and Establishing
Their Boundaries and Establishing the Boundaries of the Zoning Classifications on
the Official Map; Regulating and Restricting the Erection, Construction, Alteration,
Repair or Use of Buildings, Structures, Land or Water; Regulating the Location, Height
and Size of Buildings and Other Structures; Regulating the Size of Yards and Other
Open Spaces; Regulating the Density of Population; Providing for the Administration,
Enforcement and Amendment of These Regulations; Establishing a Board of Adjustments;
Establishing a Single Planning Board and Multiple Zoning Commissions; Setting Penalties
for Violation of These Regulations and Authorizing Other Remedies To Prevent or Abate
Violations; Providing That This article Shall Supersede All Previous Zoning Regulations,
Resolutions or Ordinances; Setting an Effective Date; and for Other Purposes.
Now Therefore, Be It Enacted by the County Council of Volusia County, Florida:
