§ 50-413. Liability for costs.
(a)
Any responsible party who causes a hazardous material incident shall be liable for the payment of all costs incurred by the county, county agencies or agents, and the municipalities for response to and remediation of such an incident.
(b)
The county will seek all available remedies at law, to include the provisions of this division, against any parties responsible for any environmentally damaging event, to include those actions and remedies available under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code relating to such matters.
