§ 50-283. Hazardous substances enumerated.
The hazardous substances regulated by this division shall consist of the substances listed in:
(1)
Chapter 38I-30.003 of the Florida Administrative Code (the Florida Substance List).
(2)
Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations part 261 (Identification and Listing of Hazardous Wastes).
(3)
Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations part 302.4 (table 302.4) (List of Hazardous Substances and Reportable Quantities).
(4)
Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations part 355, appendices A and B (List of Extremely Hazardous Substances and Their Threshold Planning Quantities).
A hazardous substance, as defined in this section, includes any solution, mixture or formulation containing such materials, and also includes any material which, due to its chemical or physical characteristics, as determined by the local government, poses a substantial threat to the life, health or safety of persons or property or to the environment.
