§ 50-41. Pollution control trust fund.

Latest version.

There is hereby created a pollution control trust fund, which shall be used by the county for pollution control purposes throughout the county. Such uses must be approved by the pollution control board, upon the recommendation of the environmental control officer. Moneys for the trust fund shall be derived from the following sources and deposited to the fund:
(1)

Fines from enforcement actions.

(2)

Reimbursement of expenses in response to investigation of environmental incidents.

(3)

Damage assessments for pollution violations.
