The general purpose of this article is to secure for all individuals within and throughout
the entirety of Volusia County, the full and equal employment of the goods, services,
facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation,
as defined in this chapter, without discrimination because of age, race, color, religion,
national origin, disability, marital status, familial status, personal gender identity,
sex, or sexual orientation, and thereby to promote the interests, rights and privileges
of all individuals within Volusia County.
