§ 30-4. Compliance with applicable regulations.

All grantees shall abide by and perform in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, including any amendments to this chapter, and such additional rules and regulations as the county may adopt or promulgate in the exercise of its police powers. Nothing in the franchise shall be construed as a surrender by the county of its police power or right to pass ordinances necessary for the safety and welfare of the public, neither shall the grantee be relieved from paying a reasonable annual business license fee and such taxes as may be levied from time to time by appropriate government entities.
