Division 1. GENERALLY |
§ 2-341. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this article, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Board attorney means the legal counselor who represents the code enforcement board.
Code enforcement board clerk means any designated employee or agent of the county whose duty is to prepare and maintain code enforcement case files, prepare legal documents, and act as the recording secretary for the code enforcement board.
Code enforcement officer means any designated employee or agent of the county whose duty it is to enforce codes and ordinances enacted by the county.
Repeat violation means a violation of a provision of a code or ordinance by a person who has been previously found, through a code enforcement board or any other quasi-judicial or judicial process, to have violated or who has admitted violating the same provision within five years prior to the current violation, notwithstanding the violations occur at different locations.
Special magistrate means a person charged with the adjudication of matters subject the provisions of this article.
