§ 2-214. Program and plan in addition to other retirement, pension or benefit systems.

The deferred compensation program authorized by this division and any deferred compensation plan approved and adopted as provided in this division shall exist and serve in addition to any other retirement, pension or benefit systems established by the state or the county, and shall not supersede, make operative or reduce any benefits provided by the Florida Retirement System, or by other retirement, pension or benefit programs established by law.
