§ 26-56. Enforcement.

The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by the Volusia County Growth and Resource Management Department, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, the Volusia County Financial and Administrative Services, and the Volusia County Traffic Engineering Division, as their responsibilities may appear. The Volusia County Sheriff's Department may, at its discretion, issue "notices to appear" to owners or itinerant merchants who are in violation of this article. In addition, owners or itinerant merchants may be subject to code enforcement board action as otherwise provided in this Code. In addition to any enforcement provisions provided in this article, violations are punishable as provided in section 1-7.
