§ 26-35. Evaluation period.
One year from the date of expiration of the six-month compliance period provided for in this article, the success or failure of the mandatory safety measures set forth in this article shall be evaluated by a statistical study conducted by the county department of public safety. If the study reveals that the safety measures mandated under this article have not effectively reduced the incidence of robbery of late-night businesses, stores or operations, the county council shall deem it necessary for continuing citizen safety and welfare to consider the more stringent deterrents of a two-clerk provision or the installation of security booths.
