§ 20-239. Duties of county; acceptance of provisions of article by licensees.
The county's duties to a concessionaire shall be limited to those provided by this chapter. The acceptance of a license shall constitute an agreement to operate under its provisions, to be compensated according to the provisions of this chapter, and to waive all rights to provide goods or services on the beach claimed or which may be claimed otherwise to exist. In the event of litigation by any party successfully challenging the authority of the county to grant all or any of the concessions provided for under this article, the county shall have no duty to indemnify or otherwise compensate a concessionaire for any sums whatsoever.
