§ 20-292. Individual permits—Requirements for receipts.

  • An individual commercial solicitation permit may be obtained by submission of a written application by the natural adult person desiring to solicit. The individual commercial solicitation permit application shall contain the following information, and shall be signed and sworn to by the applicant:

    (1)

    The full name, mailing address, street address, telephone number, facsimile number and E-mail address of the applicant.

    (2)

    A signed authorization from a master commercial solicitation permit holder to represent its business. A master permit holder soliciting for interval ownership real estate sales may authorize up to maximum of 20 individual permits for any one master permit upon the payment of the applicable fee under section 20-293.

    (3)

    A detailed description of the methods of solicitation to be employed.

    (4)

    The location(s) where the applicant will conduct solicitation.

    (5)

    Information necessary for employment background review pursuant to F.S. § 435.03, level 1 screening standards and will also include a national criminal information history check.

    If the individual commercial solicitation permit applicant is the same natural person signing the application for a master commercial solicitation permit application, the requirement of subsection (2) above is waived and both applications may be submitted simultaneously.
