§ 20-291. Master permits—Requirements for receipts.

  • A master commercial solicitation permit may be obtained by submission of a written application of the person, corporation, partnership, other entity or organization desiring to solicit. The applicant must be at least 18 years of age. The master commercial solicitation permit application shall contain the following information, and shall be signed and sworn by the applicant:

    (1)

    The legal name, business name (fictitious, trade or d/b/a), mailing address, street address, telephone number, facsimile number and E-mail address of the business or property for which the application is made.

    (2)

    The full name, mailing address, street address, telephone number, facsimile number and E-mail address of the person signing the application.

    (3)

    Copy of occupational license tax receipt.

    (4)

    Copies of all federal, state and other governmental charter, permits, licenses and similar authorizations to engage in business.

    (5)

    The name, mailing address, street address, telephone number, facsimile number and E-mail address of the person who is the registered agent of the applicant.

    (6)

    A detailed description of the nature of the business and methods of solicitation to be employed.

    (7)

    If interval ownership real estate sales, the number of sold and unsold intervals.
