§ 20-8. Division of beach safety.

There is hereby established a beach safety division, whose director shall be appointed by the county manager. The division shall be governed by the county administrative code (chapter 2, articles II, III and IV) and the county personnel rules and regulations (chapter 86, article II). The director shall be responsible for the general superintendence of county beach safety responsibilities and shall be the chief administrator of the division. Any references to beach department or department of beach management shall mean beach safety division and any reference to beach director or director of beach management shall mean beach safety director.
