§ 18-32. Airport police force.

  • (a)

    Established. The county council, pursuant to the authority granted it under F.S. ch. 332, hereby establishes an airport police force at the Daytona Beach International Airport, under the direction and supervision of the airport director.

    (b)

    Powers. The members of the airport police force shall have complete police and/or law enforcement powers within the territorial limits of the airport and shall enforce all local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations.

    (c)

    Qualifications of members. All members of the airport police force shall meet all requirements of the state police standards and training commission.
