§ 14-50. Female dogs and female cats in heat.

(a)

The owner of female dogs or cats shall confine said animals when they are in heat in such a manner as to make said animals inaccessible to any male dog or cat, except for intentional breeding purposes.

(b)

Any person who violates this provision, either willfully or through failure to exercise due care and control, is subject to the penalties prescribed in section 14-32.
