§ 114-132. Creation of special taxing district.
There is hereby created a special taxing district to be known as the Southeast Volusia Convention Development Tax District, described as follows:
All that portion of the county, lying south of the Halifax Advertising Tax District, as same presently exists, and east of State Road 415, more particularly described as follows: Begin at a point in the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean where same is intersected by the centerline of the main channel of Ponce Inlet; thence southeasterly along the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean to the point of intersection with the Brevard-Volusia County line; thence along said county line west and south to the point of intersection with the Orange-Volusia County line; thence west along said county line to the point of intersection with the Seminole-Volusia County line; thence along said county line northerly and westerly to its intersection with the centerline of State Road 415; thence northerly along the centerline of State Road 415 to its intersection with the south line of Township 15 South; thence east along the south line of Township 15 South to its point of intersection with the main channel of the Halifax River; thence southeasterly along the main channel of the Halifax River to the point of intersection with the centerline of the main channel of the Ponce Inlet; thence easterly along the centerline of the main channel of the Ponce Inlet to the point of beginning.
