§ 110-661. Construction of new projects.

  • It shall be the duty of the port authority to make or cause to be made such investigations, studies, surveys, plans, drawings, borings, maps and estimates of costs and of revenues as it may deem necessary, and thereafter prepare and adopt a comprehensive plan for the development and improvement of the harbor, shipping facilities and recreational facilities of the port district. Such comprehensive plan may be extended, modified or changed or enlarged by the authority from time to time. The authority is authorized and empowered, whenever it shall deem such action feasible and practicable, to acquire, construct, extend or enlarge any project, as defined in this article.
