§ 110-706. Levy of taxes.

  • It shall be the duty of the county council to order the director of assessments of the county to assess, and the finance director of the county to collect, the amount of taxes assessed and levied by the county council for the mosquito control district created by this article upon all of the taxable real and personal property in said district provided, however, that the amount of tax so levied shall not exceed, in any one fiscal year, the sum of two mills for every dollar of assessed valuation on the real and personal property situated in the district.
