Article II. SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION |
§ 110-33. Form of petition.
The petition prescribed in section 110-32 shall contain the following information:
(1)
A designated individual, including his address and telephone number, who will be or act as the official representative of the petitioners.
(2)
Specific designation of the boundaries of the area to be benefited by the service.
(3)
Signatures as they appear on the ownership documents of 51 percent or more of the owners of the lands involved in the benefited area or the owners of 51 percent or more of the lands involved in the benefited area. The specific legal description as it appears on the tax roll or legal ownership documents of the lots or land shall be set forth opposite the names of the signers of the petition.
(4)
A property ownership map, delineating actual ownership of each benefited unit, lot or parcel within the proposed district.
Failure to supply any of such information in the required form shall result in the return of the petition to the designated individual as referred to in subsection (1) of this section.
