Upon receipt of a complete application and the application fee for a permit the zoning
enforcement official shall promptly distribute copies of the application to the Volusia
County Sheriff's office, the Volusia County Fire Services Department, the Volusia
County Growth and Resource Management Department, the Volusia County Public Works
Department, and the state department of health. Each agency shall thoroughly review
and investigate the application and submit, to the zoning enforcement official, written
comments and recommendations related to each agency's field of expertise.
