§ 10-61. Permit required; eligibility.

  • (a)

    No person shall stage, promote, conduct or operate any outdoor entertainment event in the unincorporated areas of the county without first obtaining an outdoor entertainment event permit from the appropriate county representative.

    (b)

    To be eligible for the issuance of an outdoor entertainment event permit, there shall be located on the subject lot or parcel, an existing lawful permitted use with a principal building. No application may be processed if the property owner or site or parcel is subject to a notice of revocation in accordance with section 10-66.

    (c)

    Any permit issued under this article prior to July 1, 2007, shall expire September 30, 2007. Beginning July 1, 2007, all permits issued under this article shall be a single event permit or annual permit. The initial term for an annual permit will be from July 1, 2007, to September 30, 2008, and from October 1 to September 30 for every year thereafter. No outdoor entertainment event subject to an annual permit shall exceed ten calendar days. The term for a single event permit shall not exceed ten calendar days.
