§ 106-66. Service areas.

Pursuant to its Home Rule Charter and F.S. ch. 125, the county council shall have the power and authority to create exclusive or nonexclusive service areas for any portion or the entire unincorporated area of the county, and to enter into contracts or grant franchises for the collection of solid waste within the area. The service areas may be for the collection of residential solid waste or commercial solid waste, or both.
